Netizen under the name of @CyberPhilip caught the attention of the manager and accuses him (Mr.Diaz) of doing confidential talk with Angel Locsin.
The netizen tagged Ogie Diaz in his twitter post and posted the viral photo with Angel Locsin.
He says: "Hi @ogiediaz! Nagapang mo!" and added the hashtag RIPDARNA #RIPDARNA (Rest in Peace Darna).
Without delay, the manager defended himself and replied to the said netizen. "Uy, iho. Iba pinag-uusapan namin ni @143redangel dyan. Easy ka lang, iho."
After the image was posted, Ogie Diaz took his comments via Facebook to clarify the said rumor as to why his talent Liza Soberano got the most coveted title role of the legendary Pinay Superhero 'Darna'.
Ogie posts: "Ginapang ko daw yung Darna para kay Liza Soberano. Sorry po, hindi naman ako ganun ka-powerful para manggapang ng project sa laga ko."
Liza's manager also added in his post : " Eh, kung nakuha lang pala sa gapangan yang Darna eh di sana, nabalitaan nyo na rin na ako ang gaganap na Ding".
On the other hand, actress Angel Locsin rebuffed the malicious photo on Twitter and responded to Ogie Diaz post.
The Star Cinema first choice for the role of Darna cleared up the issue, says " @ogiediaz Ngayon ko lang nasilip to mama ogs sorry. Yes iba po pinaguusapan namin dyan :) "
And by now, some people already have their own opinions and speculations on how the 19-year-old Kapamilya star got the role of Darna.
But whether they find her a perfect fit or not, Soberano is out to give her “more than 100 percent best” to prove that she is worthy of this project.
