Anne Patricia Lorenzo Controversial Answer In Miss Q&A Finals
Kapamilya noontime show It's Showtime's “Miss Q&A: Kween of the Multibeks” grand finals just recently concluded and Anne Lorenzo was declared the winner. The grand finals was a trending topic online and the winner herself also was.
Anne Patricia was trending because of her winning answer. During the finale called "Last Chukchak" in the competition, she was asked: "Do you believe someone is stupid?"
This is her answer:
"I believe, yes. I believe someone is stupid. Why? Because he deliberately made a fool of himself even though we all have the ability to know what is right and wrong.
We were created smart, but we choose to be stupid and they are the real stupid people because they choose to be stupid in the situation they need and they can afford to be smart.
Just like choosing the leader of our country. We become fools because we know who has credibility and ability but we choose those people. We still send people sweet words and that's when someone is stupid. And I thank you."
She explained that people are innately intelligent but some are choosing "stupidity" because of external factors. They become "stupid" in situations where they need to be intelligent.
Anne Patricia liked this answer of hers to choosing leaders. People get swayed by sweet words that instead of choosing the right leader, they still chose the one who is an expert in sweet talking but with no actions and concrete plans for the people and this is what "fooling" is for her.
As the grand winner, she won prizes such as Php 500,000.00 cash, Php 100,000.00 worth of beauty package, and Php 450,000.00 worth of business package.
