The video of Julia Barreto snubbing a fan in London went viral when a certain fan uploaded it on Instagram and was copied on Facebook and YouTube showing Julia Barretto snubbing some fans.
The 18-year-old Julia Barretto was one of the Kapamilya Stars who visited London this weekend for an ASAP show in the city. Julia Barretto took to Instagram and explained her side with the incident that irked some netizens who labelled her as being “suplada.”
Julia Barretto posted the following statement on Instagram to air her side: “You can tell me it’s easy to even glance, how fast it is to smile or wave back… “Because yes it is and I apologize for not having done so.”
The young actress also noted that in the said video her effort to greet her fans in London was not shown, despite the fact that there were some fans who gave way for them because they might be late for their flight back to the Philippines.
Julia Barretto added further: “These people are the ones who helped me get to where I am now.” Julia stated “You can be laughing at me right now, mocking me or thinking this girl is just trying to save herself. “This is myself explaining even when I do not even have to, but I am. “I am for my fans. I am for myself because I can not take way too much judgement from people who do not know me behind the camera.”
