Some Filipino netizens were not very happy with the statement made by Miss Peru's Laura Spoya as her name turned into the most sizzling topic on Twitter collecting a huge number of notice from Filipino supporters. 


According to some Filipino netizens,  Miss Peru's statement that majority of many contestants thought Miss Colombia is the winner and deserves the crown of Miss Universe is viewed as coldhearted and possibly Miss Peru overlooked that Miss Philippines bet reliably beat the worldwide group of vote based upon the consequences of the Miss Universe web voting. 

Amid the crowning celebration night of the world's most prestigious beauty pageant, Miss Universe, the host and comic Steve Harvey inadvertently reported that Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez won the title rather than the Filipina beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach.
