According to the latest report that was released by Kantar Media, ABS-CBN Its Showtime gained the lead score of 15.5% last January 11 beating Eat Bulaga with only 15.2% for the very first time.
Its Showtime recently introduced "Tawag ng Tanghalan”, the newest singing battle for amateur singers across the Philippines. It is also believed that the new segment helps boost the TV ratings of the noontime show.

Meanwhile, showbiz columnist Nora Calderon posted TV ratings of Eat Bulaga! based on AGB Nielsen Mega Manila survey for the same day January 11.
On her twitter page, Eat Bulaga garnered much higher ratings of 24.1% as compared to 9.2% for Its Showtime.
Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes that represents 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population while AGB Nielsen uses a panel size of 2,000 homes based solely in urban areas.
