In one on one interview with ABS-CBN "Tonight with Boy Abunda" the actor admitted the breakup rumors with Bea Alonzo. Zanjoe guested on the show to promote his upcoming soap opera "Tubig at Langis".
Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Marudo confirmed break up with longtime girlfriend Bea Alonzo after a week of speculations.

When asked how the actor is coping with the break up, Zanjoe said "Wala namang madaling way, so kailangan talaga pagdaanan."
The actor also added: "Excited ako kasi this year marami akong plano, like magpatayo ng farm house. Tapos, sa trabaho ko... excited ako."
Rumors of the breakup came about week ago when they went to trips abroads separately.Bea Alonzo went to Japan while Zanjoe Marudo spent his vacatiobn in Europe alone.
Zanjoe and Bea admitted they were in a relationship in October 2011.
