Broadway's best has come out in full force. The 2016 Tony Awards made history before it even started, when Hamilton nabbed a record-breaking 16 nominations – and on Sunday the musical took home a whopping 11 awards.
The hip-hop-infused musical about the life of Alexander Hamilton took home the coveted award for best play, while creator Lin-Manuel Miranda nabbed the award for best original score. Actor Leslie Odom Jr. also took home the award for best actor for his turn in the musical.
