After Miguel Tanfelix's pilot come back as the grown up Mulawin being "Pagaspas"on Encantadia. The Pambansang Bae Alden Richards is additionally set to wear a couple of wings on the show as a new Mulawin.
In a report from 24 Oras, Wednesday, August 17, Alden is set to play the half human, half feathered creature – named Lakan.
Lakan has sworn his dedication to the Encantadias and promised to fight for them.
"Happy naman ako kasi actually, growing up, lumaki ako na may Encantadia," he said about the role. (I'm very happy because actually, I grew up with Encantadia.)
"Diet, kasi syempre yung costume hindi naman ganun ka... pag sinukatan tayo, slim na slim... Dapat fit din, buti na lang may konting background tayo sa working out at sa mga maaksyon na eksena," he said.
(Diet because the costume is not...when they fit you, you have to be very slim. You have to be fit too, good thing I have a bit of background with working out and in some of the action scenes.)
