Everyone is getting excited. Surely, every family member (esp.,kids) will absolutely farctate to this wonderful sweet and creamy texture of pasta dish for the "Noche Buena" .
Aside from this, Macaroni Salad is one of the most common pasta dish that every Filipino family must have during this special occasion. The ingredients are cheap and easy to make that everyone loves.
Macaroni Salad has a lot of version across the world but in the Philippines, Macaroni Salad has a mild sweet flavor same to Filipino style spaghetti. A distinct denominator why it is uniquely different to spend Christmas holiday than any other country.
So today, Pinoy Etchetera is happy to share our Today's Harvest!!
For the ingredients:
8 oz (2 cups) macaroni pasta, cooked
2 1/2 tbsp condensed milk
3/4 cup pineapple tidbits
pinch (1/16 tsp) salt
1/2 cup table cream
1 cup cooked ham
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp onion, chopped
1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
1/3 cup carrots, chopped
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, cubed
1/3 cup raisins
1 tbsp pickle relish
In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook chicken until no longer pink. Let rest until cool enough to handle, then shred. Set aside.
In a medium pot with boiling salted water cook macaroni until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well combined.
Refrigerate for several hours
Serve and enjoy with your family
