The 29-year-old Filipina named Trixie Maristela was recently crowned as the Miss International Queen 2015 at a pageant in Thailand that took place last Friday.
The said pageant was known as the largest transgender pageant. Trixie defeated 26 other competitors.
“I still can’t believe that I won. Right now, I don’t know what I’m going to do next, but I’m very thankful to, you know, to be given this chance to win Miss International Queen, which is a very, very prestigious pageant for transgenders,” Trixie said.
She claims that the Miss International Queen Pageant made them feel very special and important. The said pageant also helped them boost their confidence.
