After speculating for over a month about a mysterious shoot Miley Cyrus appeared to be doing with Paper Magazine, the full cover story and spread are finally here!
The “We Can’t Stop” singer revealed the cover yesterday, but even seeing her grinning ear-to-ear while holding her pet pig Bubba Sue (who is MASSIVE now, BTW!) couldn’t have prepared us for what she and the mag had in store for us.
With creative direction helmed by long-time Miley collaborator Diane Martel, the spread is very very Miley. What exactly does that mean? I’m still not quite sure how to articulate it, but it’s a fruit salad of pop, art, and surreal absurdism.
Though surely overshadowed by all the free nips, there is some excellent beauty game going on in these photos—makeup by Pati Dubroff using MAC Cosmetics and hair by Dylan Chavels for Salon Benjamin. For the full NSFW spread, head over to PaperMag.com.
