The Filipino-American group “The Filharmonic” dreams of working with their idol Sarah Geronimo and wants to work as Kapamilya stars. The acapella group made a huge success after their performance in the movie “Pitch Perfect.”
Although the group already made a name in the Hollywood scene, they were really grateful while performing in front of Filipino audiences.
“The Filharmonic” started their Hollywood fame when they reached the semi-finals of NBC’s hit musical competition, “The Sing-Off” and finished the first “Sing-Off” National tour, sharing the stage with Linkin Park, Black Eyed Peas and the popular American group Pentatonix, who visited the country recently for a concert.
The group consists six members: Vocalists VJ Rosales, Joe Caigoy, Trace Gaynor, and Barry Fortgang, Vocal Bass Jules Cruz, and Beat boxer Niko Del Rey.
In an interview with the American news bureau of ABS-CBN, “The Filharmonic” revealed that they wants to perform on the hit musical variety show, “ASAP,” and hopes to work someday with one of their idol, Sarah Geronimo.
