Superstar Nora Aunor has reacted on the controversy involving the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2017.
This was after the controversial selection of the official entries of this year’s MMFF.
Earlier, before the four entries have been announced, 4 members of MMFF Screening Committee resigned including academe representative Roland Tolentino, renowned film writer Ricky Lee, broadcast journalist Kara Alikpala, and director-writer Ed Lejano.
The four flicks which qualified the screening are the following: Ang Panday, Almost Is Not Enough, The Revengers, and Love Traps #FamilyGoals.
The remaining entries will be announced later- completing the Magic 8.
Meanwhile, Superstar Nora Aunor has reacted on the pressing controversy involving the prestigious local film festival.
Here’s her statement in an interview with PEP.ph.
In the 43 years of MMFF, more than 15 films of the Superstar became an official entry. Eight out of 15 earned her MMFF Best Actress award.
