In an interview with ABS-CBN showbiz correspondent MJ Felipe that he was “too touchy” with Kathryn which the young actor denied it.
He said during the interview that “Hindi naman PDA (Public Display of Affection) ‘yon.” “Masaya lang talaga ako kay Kathryn. Dahil pag si Kathryn, pag masaya siya, ganoon din ako, parang wala na akong problema,”.
Daniel Padilla caught the attentions of media during his interview with fellow "Pangako Sa'yo" star Kathryn Bernardo wherein he was caught wrapping his arms around on camera with Kathryn Bernardo in more than one occasion and was even seen kissing the shoulders of Kathryn.
Acxcording to Daniel, he couldn’t control his emotions towards the Kathryn Bernardo but also suggested that those people especially their supporters who were eager to know the real score of their romantic relationships would need to wait and relax.
Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo made a name for themselves due to the huge success of their teleseryes and their box office movies. They are now busy with various projects together under Star Cinema and ABS-CBN.
