The Kapuso fast rising star today, Maine Mendoza aka Dubsmash Queen starts her acting workshop under the supervision of TV director and movie actress Ms. Gina Alajar.
During last year MMFF awards, Maine Mendoza won the Metro Manila Film Festival for best supporting actress prize. The Eat Bulaga! Kalyeserye star played in the romantic comedy "My Bebe Love #KiligPaMore", with fellow Kapuso artists Aiai dela Alas, Bossing Vic Sotto and the other half of the phenomenal love team AlDub Alden Richards. The movie also received the Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Award during awards night.
Ms. Gina Alajar said on a photo she posted on Instagram account: "My student...Such a sweet girl!"
Despite the overwhelming support of her fans, Mendoza was still shocked by her win in the category where she competed against veteran actresses like Nova Villa and Iza Calzado.
Mendoza received the award for her portrayal of Anna in the movie "My Bebe Love,"
Maine posted on her twitter saying:
Bago pa ako ibash ng sambayanan, mauuna na ako.. Bakit ako? Pero maraming salamat po! Magandang umaga sa lahat!
