The second season of The Voice of the Philippines grand finale was held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of the Resorts World Manila in Pasay City. Joining Jason Dy as the top two finalist is Team Apl’s Alisah Bonaobra while the other two finalists Leah Patricio and Rence Rapanot were the bottom two finalists.
The 23-year-old “Haranista” Jason Dy garnered the highest percentage of votes during the announcement of winners with a total of 52.94% during the final two showdown against Alisah Bonaobra of Team Apl.
Jason Dy who hails from Butuan City brought home the much coveted title and trophy crafted and designed by contemporary artist Leeroy New; alongside a house and worth P2 million; a shopping spree and Asian tour package worth P350,000; a business package worth P1 million; a musical instrument package worth P100,000; a brand new car worth P1 million; a recording and management contract with MCA Music; and the last but not the least a whopping P2 million in cash.
The haranista Jason Dy and the singing sensation Alisah Bonaobra got the highest accumulated number of votes during the two-day finale of The Voice PH, garnering 40.09% and 22.72% in no particular order for the duet/trio song, solo song, solo number of dramatic song and their respective duets with their coaches.
