After the interrupted speech of Krisel Mallari's salutatory rite went viral online, finally the class valedictorian of Sto. Niño Parochial School (SNPS) whose name was not revealed breaks her silence and aired side on Krisel Mallari’s cheating accusation. She told her salutatorian Mallari to just accept that she should not get the top place in their batch.
In an exclusive interview aired on Tuesday night, the valedictorian of SNPS said that Krisel Mallari’s speech tarnished the reputation of the school. The controversial speech of Krisel Mallari became one of the hottest trending topics in the Philippines for the past few days with after the video of her speech went viral.
The viral video which already garnered more than 2 million views on YouTube features Krisel Mallari accused her school that she was cheated out of being named valedictorian. The most controversial part of the video was during the time when school officials stopped Mallari from delivering her speech.
Meanwhile, during the interview with the Valedictorian, the student was quoted as saying “Krisel, I wish that you learn to accept that some things are not meant for you. You should not tarnish the reputation of the school. Many were hurt (by your allegations),” said the valedictorian.
The valedictorian of SNPS denied any cheating and she noted that she was allowing the recomputation of her grades to put the issue to rest. She also denied that her family bribed the school so that she would be named class valedictorian.
