The annual Metro Manila Film Festival kicked off on Tuesday December 23 featuring the eight official entries showcasing the Philippine cinemas of the most awaited movie festival of the year.
The MMFF 2014 parade of stars began at around 2:00 pm at the Bradco Avenue, passing through the MAcapagal Avenue, EDSA and Roxas Boulevard heading straight to Quirino Grandstand, Luneta Park.
The Metro Manila Film Festival will be held from December 25 and runs until the first week of January 2015.
During the film festival, there will be no foreign film shown in the Philippine cinemas in order to give way to locally produced movies.
Aside from the eight official floats, the actors and actress also joined the 40th season of the movie fest and greeted their fans.
